Abstract:For the purpose of reducing energy consumption of paper machine drying section, the method of optimizing the parameters for ventilation system based on improved genetic algorithm was put forward. The energy consumption model of paper machine drying section was established and by using the improved genetic algorithm, the exhaust temperature, exhaust humidity and air flow were optimized. MATLAB simulation experiments showed that after using this optimizing method, the energy consumption of paper machine drying section was further reduced, which had remarkable benefits for energy conservation．
