| Abstract:The Hibiscus mutabilis bark was recorded asa kind of papermaking raw material in the ancient science book The Exploitation of the Works of Natureas and the famous Xue Tao Stationery was made of it. In order to explore the papermaking feasibility of the material, the botanical characteristics of the Hibiscus mutabilis, the fiber morphology and chemical composition of its bark were analyzed, the hand make paper was prepared in the lab, which proved that the Hibiscus mutabilis bark was a good papermaking fiber raw material and had further application potential． |
