Abstract:Bamboo bark pigment was extracted from BambusaChungii by ultrasonic extraction, using ethanol as extraction solvent. The optimum extraction conditions were as the follows: ethanol concentration 90%, solid liquid ratio 1∶35, ultrasonic time 40 min, ultrasonic temperature 55℃. After twice extraction under the optimum condition, the pigment was basically extracted completely, the extraction rate of chlorophyll was about 0.39%. Pigment was purified and separation by column chromatography to obtain orange pigment, turquoise pigment, yellow pigment and green pigment,then graphics of Uv vis spectrophotometer were similar to chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and two carotenoids, and the purified extracting may also contain fatty acids, sterols and so on identific by nuclear magnetic spectrum(NMR), the purified extracting contained —OH, CC, CO, C—O and so on by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) analysis.
