Abstract:In2S3 nanoparticles were synthesized via a hydrothermal method by using sodium sulfide (Na2S) and indium nitrate (In(NO)3) as saw materials. The as-synthesized In2S3 nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM, and used to photocatalytically degrade alkaline lignin under visible light irradiation. The results showed that the as synthesized photocatalyst possessed a cubic phase of β-In2S3 nanoparticles with platelet structure. It showed a perfect degradation and decolorization effects on lignin due to production of superoxide radicals, cavity and a small amount of hydroxyl radicals under visible light irradiation. |
