Abstract:The anionic PAMAM dendrimers were obtained through hydrolyzing the ester-terminated groups of Gn.5PAMAM in NaOH solution, the structure of obtained A-Gn.5PAMAM was characterized by FT-IR. The A-Gn.5PAMAM of different generations were used as organic anion microparticles for the microparticle retention and drainage system of the bleached deinked ONP. The results showed that the A-Gn.5PAMAM combined with S-CPAM and CPAM could provide higher furnish retention, and the efficiency of higher generation of A-Gn.5PAMAM was higher than that of the lower one. The S-CPAM (CPAM)/A-Gn.5PAMAM system could adapt to a broad pH range, and the retention and drainage system had better shearing resistance. It also found that the A-Gn.5PAMAM had a strong synergetic effect with bentonite as anionic particulate in the microparticle retention and drainage aid system.
