Abstract:The Lithium-ion battery separator with excellent wettability and thermal resistance property was successfully prepared by papermaking process using nanofibrillated cellulose and softwood pulp as raw material. The NFC separator exhibited high porosity, good electrolyte wettability and high electrolyte uptake compared with domestic PP (polypropylene) separator and American Celgard 2400 PP separator. In addition, the NFC separator almost has no shrinkage when it was exposed at 200℃ for 1 h. |
