| Abstract:This paper reviewed the recent research progress of anaerobic digestion of pulp and paper mill sludge in china and abroad. Regarding to the biogas production of sludge, the main components and characteristics of sludge were introduced, and some problems in anaerobic digestion process were analyzed. The effects of thermal, chemical, biological and mechanical protreatment methods on the methane production potential of sludge in anaerobic digestion process were discussed emphatically. |
