Abstract:The various ONP pulp and their deinked pulp after flotation and washing were used as materials to prepare the sheets by laboratory sheet former (whether cover a cloth or not) and Buchner funnel respectively. And the optical properties of the sheets were analyzed, and the effects of sample sheet preparing methods on optical property determination were evaluated. The results showed that the sheet prepared in Buchner funnel with better retention of fillers, inks and other fine materials in the filter paper, it caused great difference of optical property comparing with other sample sheet preparing methods. While there were a little fillers, inks and fine materials in deinked pulp, the effect of sample sheet preparing methods on brightness and ERIC (Effective Residual Ink Concentration) determinate was not obvious. On the contrary, the pulp contained more fine materials and inks, there were obvious differences in brightness and ERIC of the sheets prepared by different methods, especially between the sheets prepared by laboratory sheet former and Buchner funnel. |
