Abstract:Removing the lignin from pre-hydrolysis liquor is in favor of effective use of lignin and hemicellulose. This paper briefly discussed the structure and properties of the lignin in the pre-hydrolysis liquor, and emphatically introduced the different methods of efficiently removing lignin from pre-hydrolysis liquor, including physical methods(adsorption method, freezing method, resin exchange, etc), chemical methods(adding polymer, surfactant, PAC etc.), biological methods(adding laccase) and the combined methods(physical-chemical methods, physical-biological methods, chemical-biological methods). Finally the combined methods and biological methods were suggested as the focus of future research.
