Abstract:In order to solve the large-scale cross-direction control problem in paper machine, a distributed cross-direction control system based on CAN-bus and OPC technology was designed, which has the characteristics of powerful expansibility and strong real-time performance. Multiple-array intelligent actuators were closed-loop controlled by the main monitor station through Ethernet and CAN-bus, and the measured data and field information were accessed and shared among the monitor stations via OPC technology. An intelligent actuator based on CAN-bus and corresponding underlying communication software were designed to process local information and control underlying hardware. Finally, the feasibility and validity of the system were verified with practical applications. |
