| Abstract:Through the experiments of paper’s printability and digital printing, the influence of surface characteristics of paper on digital printing color reproduction was explored according to color rendering capability. The results showed that the paper with higher smoothness and glossiness had better color rendering, greater color gamut and smaller hue error and grayscale; and the higher whiteness of paper, the capability better color reproduction. The surface characteristics of paper dominated the color reproduction capability. In order to have good printing quality, the paper with batter color rendering capability should be chosen. |
