| Abstract:The factors influencing spiral making intensity of cigarette paper including the kind of pulp,stock composition, beating degree of pulp, type of calcium carbonate, pressure of the press rolls, pressure of the marking rolls and basis weight were studied. The results showed that sulfite using soft wood pulp and hard wood birch pulp as fiber raw material,increasing soft wood pulp ratio in stock composition,decreasing the beating degree of hard wood pulp, using liquid calcium carbonate,decreasing the pressure of the press rolls, increasing the pressure of the marking rolls and lowering down basis weight could increase spiral marking intensity of cigarette paper. |
