| Abstract:This paper introduced the printing methods of newspaper, composition of the different printing inks and their deinkability. With the increasing of the proportion of flexographic(water-based inks) printed paper, the negative effects on waste newspaper deinking increased, this paper focused on the deinking chemicals, deinking process, treatment of deinking effluent and evaluation methodology of deinking efficiency of old newspaper printed with water-based inks. Moreover, some suggestions to old newspaper deinking process were put forward. |
