Abstract:The effects of filler type, pulp type, beating degree of the pulp, surface sizing, coating, calendaring, moisture on forming degree of aluminum free inner lining paper for cigarette packaging were investigated in this paper. The results showed that moisture had significant effect on forming degree. When the moisture of paper sample increased before calendaring, residual moisture in the calendared paper sample was relatively higher, which caused lower forming degree. The forming degree decreased significantly if the paper was used in damp condition. What’s more, using filler with small particle size, increasing usage of hardwoods, applying appropriate calendaring treatment, one side coating with appropriate formula were all beneficial to the forming degree. |
