| Abstract:The paper mainly studied the application of wollastonate in corrugating medium surface sizing. The surface sizing starch, wollastonite and starch replacement agent were gelatinized to use as the surface size. Experiments showed that when 10% of surface sizing starch was replaced with the wollastonite, the CD ring crush strength increased to 5.30 N·m/g, and MD ring crush index increased to 7.55 N·m/g; CD tensile index increased to 46.2 N·m/g, and MD tensile index increased to 95.9 N·m/g; CD folding strength increased to 11 times and MD folding strength increased to 35 times. |
