Abstract:In kraft pulping, high silicon content of bamboo caused negative effects on the alkali recovery system and the recycling of lime mud. The leaching pattern of silicon and the prohibiting silicon from dissolving effect of the silicon restrainer in pre-impregnating stage were investigated based on the process of steam-liquid two phase two-tower continuous cooking using in Chitianhua Paper. The result showed that the leaching rate of silicon was rapid and stable under 140℃, while it was slow when the temperature was over 140℃. The silicon restrainer effect of prohibiting silicon from dissolving was the best when the temperature was 100℃. The dissolved silicon amount increased to the maximum in 60 min, and then became stable. The restraining effect of the restrainer was the best in 90~120 min.
