Abstract:In this article, using Fenton agent(FeSO4-H2O2)as initiator graft copolymerization and crosslinking modification of APMP effluent with acrylamide(AM), methacryloyloxy ethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(DMC) and N, N’-methylene bisacrylamide(MBA)was investigated. The effects of reaction conditions(total active ingredient concentration, reaction pH, the dosage of crosslinker)on grafting percentage(G), grafting efficiency (GE), monomer conversion percentage(C), and viscosity of the product were studied. Surface sizing with the product was applied to the corrugating medium, the effects of the graft copolymer on the strength and water resistance of the corrugating medium were studied. The chemical structure and composition of the graft copolymer were characterized by Fourier transforms infrared(FT-IR). Its thermal property was investigated by thermos gravimetric analysis (TGA). |
