| Abstract:White mud is the solid waste of chemical recovery in alkaline pulping. It will not cause environment pollution, but also waste the mineral resources if white mud stacks in the open air. Calcium carbonate is the main component of white mud just as it exists in natural limestone, which is the important raw material of silicate production. The possibility of using white mud in silicate material production instead of using limestone was discussed in detail. The research status, current problems and development prospects of using white mud as raw material in silicate material production were discussed． |
