Abstract:The effect of ECF bleaching effluent recycling(using P-stage filtrate to wash D-stage pulp) on the pollution load and pulp properties was studied. The results showed that, by recycling P-stage filtrate, the bleached pulp whiteness increased by 1~2 perceatage, while viscosity decreased slightly; CODCr decreased by 0~2.5 kg/t bleached pulp and BOD5 decreased by 2.1~2.9 kg/t bleached pulp,while AOX decreased by 17%~20%. and effluent amount, reduced by 30%. |
