| Abstract:Based on the operational experience and daily running data of C/D bleaching stage in a pulp mill, an online calculation model of the brown stock kappa number and a prediction model of pulp brightness after C/D stage were established in the paper. The models could be applied to optimize the usage of bleaching chemicals without online kappa number and brightness measurement instruments. The half a month operation results showed that, the average brightness value was 62.0%ISO with standard deviation 4.39 before optimizing control, while the average brightness value was 61.3%ISO with standard deviation 2.53 after optimizing control. |
