| Abstract:As the growth of anti-smoking wave and more and more attention has been attracted to the influence of smoking on health, paper cigarette filter presents significant effectiveness in removal of tar in tobacco smoke, more biodegradable and at lower cost compared with traditional acetate fiber cigarette filter, and it becomes the research hotspot recently. But paper cigarette filter also has some obvious disadvantages that hinder its promotion and development seriously. In this paper, the main disadvantages of paper cigarette filter and its causes were analyzed, and the technology and research progress in eliminating or reducing the disadvantages of paper cigarette filter was reviewed in detail. |
