Abstract:The enzyme consisting different proportion of hemicellulase and cellulase was used to study the effect of enzymatic beating of the unbleached insulating softwood kraft pulp. The effects of dosage of enzyme and pretreatment temperature on enzymatic beating were studied. The results indicated that enzymatic pretreatment had remarkable effects on the improvement of paper strength and saving of beating time when beating degree was in the range of 45~85°SR. When beating degree was over 90°SR, the beating degree increased very slowly for both control pulp and enzymatic pretreated pulp. Enzymatic pretreated pulp in higher temperature caused serious degradation of the fibers which lead to poorer paper strength when beating degree was 95°SR compared to the enzymatic pretreated pulp in lower temperature and the control pulp. |
