Abstract:Only using hexadcryl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) and combined using CTAB and engyme (neutral cellulose or neutral protease) for the conditioning of activated sludge of paper mills were studied,the conditioning procedures,the parameters and the testing methods were determined ,the conditioning effect on dewatering property of the sludge was analyged. The results showed that combined enzyme and CTAB conditioning has better effect on dewatering properties of sludge than single CTAB conditioning.
