Abstract:Papermaking sludge is the solid waste of paper industry. At present, most of sludge are landfilled or incinerated, those sludge treatment and disposal processes will bring about secondary pollution. The current development situation and achievements at home and abroad in using papermaking sludge to make artificial timber board was summarized in this article. Recycled utilization of papermaking sludge materials is one of the ways to solve the problems of resources shortage and environmental pollution.
