Abstract:This paper described the characteristics of guar gum, cationic starch and carboxyalkyl cellulose, compared the performances of non-ionic guar gum, cationic guar gum and anion guar gum, and studied the application of guar gum and mixed application of non-ionic guar gum, cationic starch and carboxyalkyl cellulose. The results indicated that adding non-ionic guar gum in tissue pulp could enhance retention and tensile.Mixed application of non-ionic guar gum, cationic starch and carboxyalkyl cellulose could also improve strength of the paper and raise the retention of filler. |
