Abstract:Glass fibers can’t disperse well in water, we should take measures to improve the dispersity of glass fibers before they are used to make papers with other fibers. The surface properties of glass fibers were introduced in this article, and the dispersion theory was set forth, the efficiencies of various dispersion methods were compared. The results indicated that using phenol and tetrachloroethane solution has the best dispersion efficiency.
