Abstract:The AKD wax was emulsified by using laboratory made polyamine and cationic starch with high substituted degree as emulsifier. Based on the HLB value theory and organic concept map theory, the effects of the ratio of polyamine and cationic starch, the temperature, mixing speed and time during emulsifying on the properties of the emulsion were investigated. The difference between the new AKD emulsifier and traditional AKD emulsifier was analyzed by the SEM. The results showed that the new AKD emulsion has better sizing effect and there is no false sizing phenomenon. |
