Abstract:Single factor and orthogonal experiments were carried out to determine the influence of the reflux ratio, the dosage of polyaluminum chloride (PAC) and polyacrylamide (PAM) on air-flotation effect of a shallowly rectangular air-flotation equipment in order to overcome the unstable quality of the recycled white water. The main reason of a lot of foam producing in the air-flotation cell was also discussed. The results showed that under the condition of usual pulp furnish, the content of PAM and PAC has a significant impact on the removal rate of suspended solids and a slightly impact on the brightness of the recycled pulp; the satisfied air-flotation treatment effects can be obtained when the content of PAM, the content of PAC, and the reflux ratio reach 2.5 mg/L, 12.5 mg/L, and 10.5% ~13.5%, respectively; the higher content of dichloromethane extracts in the market pulp used may result in a great deal of foam in the flotation cell. |
