Abstract:In order to improve the ash integration of burning cigar wrapping paper, the fillers (CaCO3, TiO2 and MgO) were added into the cigar wrapping paper of reconstituted tobacco, which can improve combustion performance and ash integration of reconstituted tobacco. Meanwhile, the ash integration evaluation criterion was designed based on ash color and static combustibility rate as the primary influence factors, and air permeability as the secondary influence factor. The mechanical pulp (MP) from tobacco stem was used as the main raw material, a few amount of ligneous fibers and a certain amount of fillers (CaCO3, TiO2 and MgO) were added to make cigar wrapping paper of reconstituted tobacco on which tobacco extracted liquid was coated, and its relevant static combustibility rate, the air permeability and ash integration were tested. The experimental results showed that when the content of TiO2 and CaCO3 was 8% and 12% respectively, the ash color was whiter, static combustibility rate was 129.4 s/150 mm, the air permeability was 107.7 cm3/(min·cm2), and the score of ash integration was 88 points, ash integration improved significantly. |
