| Abstract:In this study, two application modes of optical brightening agent (OBA) in peroxide bleaching of HYP, OBA was applied with bleach liquor and OBA was applied after bleaching, were compared. Also, the advantages and disadvantages of peroxide/OBA bleaching and traditional peroxide bleaching were investigated. The results showed that, compared with conventional peroxide bleaching process, the unique properties of HYP could be maintained by both application modes of peroxide/OBA bleaching efficiently. Moreover, the application mode of adding OBA with bleach liquor was better than the counterpart (adding OBA after bleaching). |
