| Abstract:Naphthalimide fluorescent brightening agent(FBA) was synthesized using 4-bromo-1,8-naphthalic anhydride as raw material through amidation with ethanolamine, then introducing ethoxy electron-donating group into 4-bit of naphthalene ring. With cyanuric chloride as the crosslinking monomer, the water-solubility of ultraviolet absorber (UVA) 2,4-dihydroxy-benzophenone was modified by sodium p-aminobenzenesulfonate. The molecular structures were characterized by IR spectra;optical properties were measureed by UV spectra and fluorescence spectra. Coating the two prepared additives alone or blends of them with a certain proportion on the surface of the paper, the ultraviolet accelerated yellowing inhibition performance of them were studied. The results showed that: the blends of naphthalimide fluorescent brighteners and water-soluble UVA have better synergistic effect, have more excellent yellowing inhibition effect than them used alone, and the optimum ratio of fluorescent brighteners and UVA is 1∶3. |
