Abstract:Stream for heating the cylinders of high speed paper machine was provided by the steam-knife gas supply device. The special “steam-knife” device and nozzle were designed in order to make sure the stream could spray from the row of nozzles in the cylinder, and form the steam-knife to attack the water ring obliquely. In that way, the thickness of the water ring could be reduced, the resistance of the heat transfer of the water ring could be decreased. At the same time, it would be beneficial to absorb the condensate water by the suction nozzle of the siphon, and realize removing the condensate water in the cylinder timely and effectively. Through the calculation of the design of the nozzle, the supply parameters of the heating steam and the steam parameters inside the cylinder were obtained, as well as the spraying speed of the steam knife and the thickness of the Reducing water ring. All the parameters were reasonable and would reach the expected effect. |
