| Abstract:The concepts of extensional flow and extensional viscosity were introduced in this paper, the relationship between extensional viscosity and shear viscosity and the influence of thickener on extensional viscosity were discussed, also the importance of extensional viscosity in blade coating, MSP coating and curtain coating was discussed respectively. Finally the measurements of the variation trend of extensional viscosity were introduced, the methods of Converging Channel-Flow and Capillary Breakup were emphasized. |
