Abstract:The deinking of waste newspaper with the crude enzymes produced by Schizophyllum commune in nutrient nitrogen limited culture medium was studied. Box-Behnken design in Response Surface Methodology was employed to optimize the main factors including enzymes dosage, temperature and pH which influence the deinking result, and two mathematic models were proposed to predict the effective residual ink concentration (ERIC) and brightness of the pulp. The experiment results showed that pH had more obvious influence on Schizophyllum Commune deinking. The lowest ERIC of the pulp 208.0 mg/kg was reached while the deinking parameters were as follows: enzymes dosage 0.20 IU/g, temperature 52.5℃ and pH 6.5. When enzymes dosage, temperature and pH were 0.24 IU/g, 52.2℃ and 6.5 respectively, the brightness of the pulp peaked at 53.3%ISO. Comparing the experimental data and predicted date, the models were confirmed to be of high precision. |
