| Abstract:The retention and drainage of the DIP containing different fillers and the modified starch-TiO2 dual system were investigated in the paper. The results showed that when the dosages of nanosized TiO2 and AmS were 0.20% and 0.4%, respectively, the retention rate of the DIP furnish containing the filler of talc was 91.8%, the retention rate of the talc was 94.3%, retention rates of DIP furnishes containing the fillers of kaolin, titanium dioxide and calcium carbonate were 87.8%, 87.3% and 81.4%, respectively, the retention rates of the kaolin, titanium dioxide and calcium carbonate were 90.3%, 91.1% and 69.5% respectively. The drainage time of the DIP furnishes containing fillers calcium carbonate, talc, titanium dioxide and kaolin were respectively 20 s, 33 s, 48 s and 53 s. This mainly ascribe to the different crystal structures of the fillers. |
