| Abstract:The current status of alkali recovery in China was briefly introduced and the difference between the alkali recovery of the wood pulping and the wheat straw pulping in China was analyzed in this paper. The energy consumptions of evaporation, burning and causticizing systems were calculated according to the typical alkali recovery systems of wood and wheat straw pulping. The primary product and byproduct of alkali recovery were also discussed. The alkali recovery technology of wood pulping was in leading position in the world. The alkali recovery of wheat straw pulping in china plays a very important role in the heat recycle and the pollution control. However, comparing with the alkali recovery of wood pulping, more work is needed for further upgrading of the alkali recovery of wheat straw pulping. |
