| Abstract:Three kinds of representational paperbags were used to study the effect of permeability of paperbag on the quality and safety of the pomegranates which are growing in Lintong city, Shaanxi province. The results showed that permeability of paperbag effects the quality and safety of pomegranate remarkably. The permeability of paperbag is greater, the weight of pomegranate fruit is heavier, the cracking rate of pomegranate is lower. The reducing sugar in pomegranate juice is lower, and the titratable acid content is higher. The safety of pomegranate is worser, if the content of heavy metal (Pb, As, Hg) and residual pesticides (Cypermethrin) are higher. However, if the permeability of paperbag is too high, the tensile index, bursting and tear index of paperbag decrease, which can not reach the purpose of bagging. So choosing appropriate permeability of paperbag is the key in the pomegranate bagging cultivation. |
