| Abstract:Refining plays an important role in paper properties improvement. Appropriate fiber refining significantly affects paper machine operation and final product quality. Metso has introduced a new refining concept, OptiFiner Pro refiner， which has a smaller rotor. The OptiFiner Pro’s no-load energy consumption reduced by nearly 50% compared with the conventional refiner on the same capacity basis. OptiFiner Pro refiner has a tapered design, the refining gap and refining power can be control quickly and accurately through a new generation loading system. |
