Abstract:The factors affecting the removal of CODCr of paper mill effluent treated by the Combined Elextr-floculation Reactor was investigated. The optinmal operation condition was obtained. CODCr removal rate of the effluent was 45.6% when the Combined Elextr-floculation Reactor was used in pretreatment stage. Compared with natural settling and coagulation, the biodegradability of the effluent after treatment with the Combined Elextr-floculation Reactor was up to 84.3%, increasing 10.4% and 7.5% respectively, total operating cost of a ton of water was only 2.79¥, saving 1.85¥ and 1.16¥respectively. |
