Abstract:The treatment of pulping effluent by ultrasonic strengthened Fenton process was carried out. Based on the orthogonal test and single factor test, the effects of every main factor on color and CODCr removal rate were investigated. The results showed that the removal rates of color and CODCr of the effluent are 91.3% and 69.2% under the conditions as ultrasonic frequency of 28 kHz, output power of 1000 W, initiate pH value of the effluent is 3.0, treatment time is 11min and concentrations of Fe2+ and H2O2 are 50 mg/L and 0.9 mg/L respectively.
