Abstract:The green liquor pretreatment for improving kraft pulping, including its influences on pulp qualities, and chemical consumption in kraft pulping process, as well as the effect of AQ addition in green liquor pretreatment was introduced. Research progress in analysis of performance and behavior of the chemical components in the system such as alkali, sulfide and carbohydrate was also discussed.
