Abstract:In this paper, the limit of air content in curtain coating color is introduced, the effect of air bubbles on the curtain stability is discussed, the principle of air removal and common degassers are summarized. The principle of air boundary layer entrainment is introduced, the effect of air entrainment on dynamic wetting process in curtain coating is explained from the contacting of three phases, and the common eliminating methods and installations of air entrainment are summarized.
