Abstract:Lignosulfonate was prepared as water-reducer via oxidation and sulfomethylation of bamboo alkaline-pulping black liquor. Results indicated that the water-solubility and surfactivity of lignin in black liquor can be effectively improved through the modification. The prepared lignosulfonate can be employed as a cost-effectively water-reducer in concrete industry, since it can reduce cement slurry viscosity so as to increase the fluidity by means of dispersing cement slurry floc and releasing the bound water. This work shows great significance in pollution prevention and the reuse of black liquor.
