摘要:苯丙乳液是一种高效、低污染的造纸用表面施胶剂,经苯丙乳液表面施胶的纸张具有较好的抗水性和较高的强度、挺度。利用Minitab软件,讨论了影响苯丙乳液合成的主要因素乳化剂用量、引发剂用量、功能单体用量对施胶纸张Cobb值的影响,利用响应曲面分析法设计实验寻求优化合成条件,采用半连续预乳化种子乳液聚合法合成,并用FT-IR、AFM测定乳液的结构和性能。与阴离子淀粉配制成表面施胶剂,对静电复印纸原纸进行表面施胶,并与市售的硅丙乳液的应用结果进行比较,结果表明,自制苯丙乳液有较好的表面施胶效果。
Abstract:Styrene-acrylate copolymer emulsion is a type of efficient and low pollution water-resisting agent for papermaking. Surface sized paper has good water resistance, stiffness and strength. By using Minitab, the influences of dosages of emulsifier, initiator and functional monomers on the Cobb value of the sized paper were discussed. An optimal research design was achieved by using response surface methodology and verified by experiments. Styrene-acrylate copolymer emulsion was synthesized by semicontinuous and pre-emulsification emulsion polymerization technology. The structure and properties of the emulsion were finally characterized by FT-IR and AFM. Surface sizing agent was prepared by styrene-acrylate copolymer emulsion and anionic starch. The copy paper sized with this agent showed superior performances compared with those sized with commercial silicone modified acrylic emulsion.
