Abstract:This study targeted the complexity of odor compounds faced by adult diapers in actual use and identified nine representative malodorous compounds. By integrating detection tube methods, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), and thermal desorption-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (TD-GC-MS), a scientific deodorization effectiveness evaluation system for adult diapers was established. The deodorizing effect of different brands of adult diapers on the market was evaluated. The results showed that some samples had a deodorizing efficiency of more than 98% for compounds such as isovaleric acid, 2-nonenal and indole; for ammonia, inhibitors were added The deodorizing effect of deodorizing adult diapers made of bacterial raw materials usually exceeds 70%, which is significantly better than the deodorizing efficiency of less than 30% of ordinary diapers; however, the deodorizing effect of compounds such as methyl mercaptan needs to be improved. This research provides a scientific basis for the deodorant property evaluation of adult diapers, contributing to the enhancement of industry quality standards and product innovation. |
