Abstract:This study analyzed the effect of cellulose nanofibrils (CNF)/ pullulanase (Pul) system on the performance of starch film. It showed that the CNF/Pul treated starch exhibited higher short-range orderliness and more double helix structure, and there were additional B-type typical peaks existing in the treated starch. The obtained starch film with CNF/Pul treatment had good surface uniformity and better strength property. The tensile strength of starch film was increased from 2.44 MPa to 7.32 MPa, with a 200% increase. The test results of thermogravimetric analysis, light transmittance rate and vapour permeability showed that the obtained starch film with CNF/Pul treatment performed better thermal stability and optical transparency, and better vapour permeability as well. |
