Abstract:Nepalese handmade papermaking is an important part of Nepalese traditional handicrafts. Nepalese handmade paper has attracted more and more attention from researchers of handmade paper, but there has been no research report on Nepalese handmade paper in China. In this paper, three Nepalese handmade papers were analyzed using microscopic observation and Py-GC/MS. The experimental results show that the fibers of the three Nepalese handmade paper are mainly composed of Daphne Papyracea Wall Fibers. According to the combination of compounds in the pyrolysis products, the lignin monomer type of Daphne Papyracea Wall was syringyl lignin. The characteristic compounds of terpenoids are Sitosterol, Ergosterol, Stigmasterol, and Cholestanol, among which the highest content is Stigmasterol, and the least is Ergosterol. In addition to plant cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin pyrolysis products, pyrrole and its derivatives were also detected. This indicates that the papermaking process of Nepalese paper is gummed. This study not only summarized the plant markers of Daphne Papyracea Wall but also deepened the understanding of the Nepalese paper. |
