Abstract:The effects of six metal ions (Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe3+, Cu2+ and Mn2+) on residual H2O2 content in chemical mechanical pulp bleaching were studied.The categories of several non-silicon hydrogen peroxide stabilizers, their stabilization mechanism of H2O2, their chelating value of calcium and iron, and their application in the bleaching stage of chemi-mechical pulping were introduced.The experimental results show that: Ca2+ and Mg2+ can improve the residual H2O2 content, Fe3+、 Cu2+、 Mn2+ can reduce the residual H2O2 content, and the decrease is obvious. HEDP has the largest calcium and iron chelation value among the non-silicon stabilizers. DTPMP can effectively inhibit the ineffective decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in the bleaching process, the content of residual H2O2 is the highest, and the bleaching effect is the best.
