| Abstract:In order to search the causes of an accident of digester tube explosion in a pulping workshop, in addition to the field investigation, the chemical composition analysis and mechanical property test of the tube material, measurement of the wall thickness of the tube as well as composition analysis of the explosive residues were conducted, the analysis results indicated that the main cause of the accident was a combination of corrosion and abrasion of the tube. Finally the paper gave some suggestion to avoid the similar accident. |
