| Abstract:By analysis the technology and culture of Sihui paper, the study explored the relationship between modern production and traditional technology. The traditional process of Sihui paper could be protection and heritage in order to enhance the economic benefits. Taking the manual papermaking in Guangdong Zhaoqing Sihui Deng village as a case, through the field investigation method of local chronicles and genealogy in Deng Cun, and depth interviews with hand artists, multi factors were resarched. It is not only beneficial to the old papermaking technique, but also helpful keeping the traditional papermaking’s national knowledge. |
